I just finished watching The Muppet Movie with Jonah, and it was just as minty fresh as it was back in 1979. Steve Martin is so amazingly cool.
Anyhow, I've got twenty minutes to finish off a more polished rebuttal to Hirshman, send it somewhere, and then I have to grab a beer and watch House. I think that there are some chocolate donuts somewhere. It's an odd life, but it's all mine.
If the kids were older, you could run them off and watch Bones before House, too.
Daughter (11 1/2) has become hooked on the earlier show b/c she's been studying forensics in school (and because she was hooked on Angel reruns for a time). Hubby was kinda upset about it to start, b/c they do show decomposed bodies of all sorts, but she seems to not care and he's given up. But I wouldn't let her watch last night, b/c there was a bedroom scene. Hubs said, "So, violence is ok, but sex is not?" Yup. Luckily she has to go take a shower when House comes on, or I'd be running her out of the room every few minutes.
But girl, not beer and chocolate donuts. Powdered donuts go with beer.
