I think this is about so much more than weight though. I think this comes down to accepting your partner and the changes they go through as your relathionship grows. Not just emotional changes, but big physical ones too. I am more than the size of my ass. As I said in my post about the whole thing humans are not static beings.

When I hit urrrm a certain age, suddenly twenty pounds appeared *out of nowhere*. It's happened to all my sisters too. We are a scrawny tribe, and those twenty are stubborn.
