Sam Crane asks what would Confusius say about accepting as much as $15,000 for egg donations? Sam writes, "a Confucian would accept egg donations and in vitro techniques only if they are done for reasons of Humanity. Money should not enter the picture; and if money does enter the picture, the procedure should not be done." I've heard that egg harvesting is extremely uncomfortable. I'm pretty sure that cold cash is the only reason that anybody donates eggs or sperm. Well, except for David Crosby.
well, Kevin Federline is reported to have gone to a party where he yelled, "I've got four children, who wants to have number five?" which suggests that sperm donation isn't all THAT unpleasant... the story went on to say that the ladies were not lining up for his favors.
