There's also been some research about how Vitamin D also protects children from developing diabetes. Now that I think about it, a lot of non-whites are lactose-intolerant, which would mean that they'd need a source of Vitamin D other than fortified dairy products.

I've been trying to decide whether to join SitterCity myself. There are dozens of listings from Local University, and I'm going to need reliable support if I have to do research trips this year (and I believe/hope I will), but I'm trying to decide whether the internet can get me faster/better contacts than word of mouth.
I'm not sure, actually, why I'm hesitating....
