Might the stock market jump reflect an expectation of inflation?

Doubt it. Oil and gold aren't increasing enough. I'm guessing that inflation is a ways off.

but doesn't say whether that means there's further to shrink.

I'm still guessing inflation is a ways off. At least I hope so as I want to move to Shadyside and don't want to pay a lot of interest.
