My former representative, Charles Rangel, was just found guilty of "11 counts of ethical violations, ruling that his failure to pay taxes, improper solicitation of fund-raising donations and failure to accurately report his personal income had brought dishonor on the House."
He probably won't be expelled from the House though. Instead, he's just going to face a letter of reprimand or a formal censure.

I think Rangel has just done the Demmies an enormous favor: he has short-circuited the trial, no days and days of coverage. One and done. They will slap his wrist, and it’s over. And it’s not news any more at the next election.
